hi my name is jim i have a p38 which has had an engine upgrade at some point with a new becm not original to the car now its in lockout mode and the code i got for the car doesnt work (obv) as its not the original Becm is there anything i can do to fix this thanks

Welcome to the zone, if you know how to enter the EKA code you might want to try the skeleton code of 1515. hope that helps but other than that I would do as the 2 previous posts suggest as bcem's and P38's are a strange beast especially with none standard bits.
