Further to my indicator issues, I have now acquired a 2nd hand high line becm with an amr part number. I intend to take the logic board out of the ywc becm (which is the one in my vehicle) and fit it into the 2nd hand amr becm which has a good power board. I suspect that the power board in my vehicle is faulty but its easier to swap the logic boards over rather than the power boards. This will keep all my settings as I understand it is the logic board that is programmed and avoids keeping the replacement amr becm complete and having to have the logic board programmmed.
My question :- Is an older high line power board compatible with a newer logic board or not and is there such a thing as a high line and low line logic board? I imagine that a high line power board is pretty much the same no matter what the year and all the logic boards are also identical and it's only the software that got updated over the years ? Correct me if I am wrong - preferably before I do the swap and connect it all up again lol.
