ive got a jackall jack and need some mounts for it, i can only find mounts for a 'hi lift' typically the 4XRAC, will these work with the jackall or shall i stay in bed tomorrow morning instead of traipsing down to paddocks?

I do hope yu is taking the fooking mickey??? all farm jacks are more or less the same only variation is in quality and lifting mechanism and even those differences are slight. So in case you were been totally thick yes a 4XRAC will fit a hi-lift, Jackall, Samson or any of the other cheap chinese crap yu can buy on fleabay..

thanks for that, only had dealings wi a jackall so didnt know if they were same size or not, paddocks it is tommorow then!!

Yep they're all more or less the same. I just bolt mine to the bulkhead with a pair of M10 bolts and a couple of big washers.

mite be a trip to anchor surpluss for some bolts then instead of the mounts, thanks again

Recommend you dont mount it externally, mechanisms rust bad. Mates sheered when he needed it, plus they attract thieves and brummies:D

Behind the seats is the best place to fit it. dry safe and out of sight of prying eyes.

think im gonna mount it on the bulkhead, not many brummies round our way so thats less of an issue!

Been thinkin of putting mine there but Cornish lanes are tight often have to get out of window. How easy is it to get to if you cant open either door:confused:
