Hi all - just joined the forum. Glad to meet you all. I’ve been a Series 3 owner for nearly 10 years and I’m looking forward to next year when it becomes tax free!! Hoping to learn a lot as well as contribute to the forum.

Here's a few pics:
I got her from a guy who had put her on a galvanised chassis and fitted power steering. For some reason he fitted what looks like a Series 2 front grill. Looks odd but it's ok! I've spent a lot of time and dosh rectifying a range of issues and she's run well for most of the time. Though I've had a problem in the last year with intermittent stalling which seems to be getting gradually worse. I've posted a help request in the Series Forum and the General Landrover Forum. Know anyone who might advise on that? I've tried a lot of solutions and spent nearly a grand on trying to sort it but to no avail!

Hi nice looking landy, the wings are not Series 3 also, mines diesel so no experience of petrol landys , if you’ve had the problem then so will someone else on here, I’m sure someone will be along in a while
In the meantime have a search for intermittent stalling that might throw up a few answers
