Hello all been on here for a few months and just got round to registering today, sold my 200tdi 3 door now have a 300tdi 5 door but its crap fuel consumption is a big concern.

How crap is it ginger? Get yersell a service kit and change all the filters and see if that improves it :)
 
Snot bad. Depends how yer driving it and where. I currently get 32mpg wi my 200tdi defender unloaded and various driving styles
 
Hey up Cat5, not long had my 300Tdi and fuel consumption is scary :eek: specially round ipswich ;) but then i did expect it to guzzle a bit its worse than my 3 1/2 ton transit :( , im doing all filters and egr removal this weekend in the hope it will improve a little bit.

Is that coz its usually parked in a garage waiting to be repaired??? :p

"Yes i've only used 5 pounds worth of fuel this week" thats taking it to the garage isn't it ?? be honest :D :D
