Just registered myself to the forum... Driving a Shogun right now, but keeping a serious eye out for a Defender 110 (300tdi of td5, depends on what the budget may allow).
Right now, I'm living in Ireland, but in about 6 months I will be moving back to the Netherlands to start building out my hobby (which is importing and working on old French cars) to become my job and therefore need a good trustworthy puller/tower.
To be honest, I also have an eye out for a Disco2 TD5 (I have owned a 300tdi in the past, but prefer the looks of the Disco2), but I really do prefer the classic look of the Defender and besides that, they hold better value (atleast in the Netherlands).
I might be viewing a 1995 110 300tdi this weekend (it's in Ireland, about an hours drive from where I live). It sounds like a good deal (2nd owner, lots of work put in it), so who know, in a few weeks, I might have become a defender
