I live in the Alps in France and have 2 Defender 110s.

Can any well established members point me in the direction of any threads about 3rd brake light problems.

Mine will not go on, other 2 are fine and bulb is fine. Have googled it and there does not seem to be much info out there.

Not sure if I am correct but it seems that the connection is part of the rear screen - What a great idea!!!

Has any one remade the connections with wires and run them around the screen?

Any help would be appreciated as one of my trucks has just failed it's MOT because of this.

I would guess it is more likely a broken wire when door opens and closes, get a cheap multi meter and. Check the wiring

Some times the wires going through the doors do tend to suffer, you can sleeve these wires with rubber pipe used on fish tank air pumps this does seem to help. As with what has been mentioned though the movement of the doors does effect the wires going through them.
