T TERRYDONTSURF Member Mar 3, 2013 #2 Just about to do mine this week. Picked up one from a scrapper as want to take the hard canopy off mine that has double doors on. On mine there is 'notches' cut in the 'sill' type area where the studs are sited so you can get a spanner or shallow socket on them. Welcome to come over during the week and look if you want.

The studs that the lower part of hinge attaches to body with a actually T shaped and sit in the rail and slide back and fore . When I collected the tailgate for mine matey chopped the rusty nuts/studs off. New studs are £3 and a bit quid each
