Thanks. No problem with that, just be good if it was a bit more realistic a way of stopping people from flogging rubbish. Surprised there's the need as fleabay is so easily accessible to anyone who wants to get rid of accumulated junk. However if anyone wants any assorted tat then quite happy to oblige...!

You'd be surprised, it can range from someone 'asking' what their vehicle is worth as they have used the forum to help restore their vehicle are selling it (it would have been nice if they joined the forum and offered advice to others doing the same, thus getting their post count over 50 easily) right up to paddocks land rover spares joined a while back to 'advise' what people needed along with helpful prices and links to their website.

All are met with the same 'welcome' and rarely make it past 10 post counts let alone 50

Anyway good luck finding your engine, there's a place by me just outside Lichfield that breaks Range Rovers and newer Discoveries call High Range that might be worth a try

Trying to avoid breakers currently as don't really want to pay for a full engine especially if there's any suspicion of the normal water loss issues. Would just be nice to "help" someone clear some space in their garage by removing a known dead engine for them (for a fair price of course).
