hi there can anyone help us we have a freelander 2 I tried to start last night after she hadn't been driven for week , she started but immediately died with an engine management fault on the dash , then I tried again but then just wouldn't turn over with the same message, the push in key jammed into the dash ,I had a quick read & have charged the battery for 12 hours , tried again and managed to release the key re entered the key and still no joy all the dash lights are on the temperature needle has gone to max & again I cant remove the key from the dash ... any ideas landyzoners

You probably should have locked and unlocked once you had key in your hand
