Just wanted to introduce myself, I've bought a 96 Defender after wanting one for years and love it already!
It's a good truck, the guy I bought it off was great and had looked after it very well, so not worries about buying a dud.
I am a little worried that my excitement got better of me and I pushed it a bit hard on way home!
There seems to now be a slight ticking that wasn't there before. Just wondering if anyone knows what I might have done?

you have driven it, Landies dont like that oh and being called a truck always makes em tick, if you do it too many times they stop working completely and then blow up.
