I have just purchased a disco 1 and there are to main problems, 1 the cig lighter in the front doesn't work so can't charge phone and that, and 2 the indercater switch won't turn off once wheel has turned and gone back to straight position,

Main problems? Bloody hell that sounds like a good Disco allright.

For the cigar lighter, check if you're getting power to it. If so, get another cigar lighter. If not, check why not.

For the non-self cancelling indicator, I guess that's mechanical, take the wheel off and see what's broke.

checked the fuse on the cig lighter?

Your a bloody lucky man if thats all thats wrong with it

fuse has blown for lighter and theres a ring behind the steering wheel for the cancelling indicators that worn or brokd so may need changing

3rd problem

Spelling/grammer/punctuation filter clearly at fault. Check for error codes, may require firmware upgrade

For the indicators you need one of these....

INDICATOR CANCEL RING STC2910 DISCOVERY 1 '95 ON | eBay

They're well made, easy to fit and will fix your problem.

I think you need a new filter, as I always thought it was spelt grammar?
