Any of you experts on the perkins diesel's? I'm trying to discover similarity's/differences between the Prima,4203 and 4236. Are flywheel housing bolt holes on the back of the block the same or different? ie will these adapter plates for prima/landy series work on the 4203 and 4236?
The 4236 seems to readily available over here in the states.

Welcome to the funny farm Saxo, sure someone will be able to help with your query but sorry it's not me.

if you hand about for a while someone will come up with the answer, it will prob be charlsey (or slob or yella)

the conversion plate for a prima is completely different to a plate for a 4236 or a 4203. however, the older plates are more readily available that the prisma ones. keep your eye out on ebay, there is usually one or two on there ;)

Ok,so there are plates out there for this. Will the series 3 flywheel fit the 4236 crank? I can fabricate there rest if I can get engine mated to transmission.
