Hi LandyZone, excuse my lack of forum knowledge. Not really been on one before? So appologies for that...

I live in Aberdeenshire but am a highlander at heart! We had an 04' Freelander which we had to sell a couple years back. Given the crappy winters we're having now, we miss it quite a bit and im now looking for an older 7 seat Disco, possibly 2001 - 2003/4

So any advice on which one to get would be really appreciated!!!

Fuel consumtion is obviously going to be a worry but it's only getting used for shooting trips, once or twice a month. And during heavy snow?

Cheers for the replies all... I'm 'Fae Peterheed', and shoot near Dyce so about a 40 mile drive before I can get offroad (when I get my Disco).

Seen a couple of nice Disco's on eBay. A 3.9 v8 1997. Converted to LPG mind? But handy for longer journeys... Or the other end of price scale, 52 plate 3.9 v8.

Why does eBay only seem to have the 4ltrs and Autotrader have the 2.5ltrs?
