Any sugestions? i took the hevac unit out today and replaced one of the bulbs, as i was doing this one of the plugs came out of the unit and i plugged it straight bach in. Fitted it all back together and now i have the note book symbol on all the time. I have checked the operation of the unit and all apears to be working ok,

2 options - Live with it or have it put on the diagnostics to see what it is and clear it, then see if it comes back. It no doubt 'sensed' a problem when you knocked the plug out and once it registers a 'fault', it will stay there until cleared by Testbook / Faultmate etc.

Took the car out today and decided to turn temp down inside. Passenger side goes down nice and cool but drivers side stays hot!! Any ideas ? after all, i only changed a bulb at the back of the unit and the plug came out, as i said it was put straight back in, since checked all connections on the back of the hevac and all seems ok. Cant belive ive now got probs just from changing a bulb:mad:

Blend motors. Some people can fix it for about £270. Main stealers or indies will charge around £375+

It sounds like your drivers side blend motor is stuck in one position, probably because of the plug coming out. Try cycling it between Min and Max a few times to see if it recalibrates itself. It's worked with me before.

M drivers side blend motor is stuck on hot, if i get to warm i shove a bit of rag in the floor vent, will fix it when i get the o rings leaking.
