Can anyone confirm for me what the process would be once the flapper motor is replaced. From research i understand that its the flapper motor i need, as there is no temp control on the passenger side.

Can you simply fit and plug in the new motor and everything will work or does it need a long and complex process and a small lottery win to make it function correctly.

I dont currently have a diagnostic, so looking to see if i can do the job before getting one or not.

You need a new motor on the L/H side of the heater. Easiest one to do by a large margin. You can either get a new motor and remove pins from Hevac connector and plug the new one in. Or stagger cut and solder a new one in with heat shrink over the connections. Doing that is less invasive. And the pins can be bastards to get out.

Oh is that where the little bugger lives.

Is it the same motor as the two on the rh side, saw them whilst i was praying to the god of orings...

To confirm, it wont need resetting etc with a diagnostic??

Is it easy enough to check the function of the flap incase its seized and hence taken the motor out??

Blend flaps don't seize in my experience. Do NOT switch the ignition on with motor disconnected from flap. The only flap that seizes is the rearmost one on the distribution side. Or the actuating quadrant itself onto its fulcrum point. All motors are the same just plugged into different pins on connector into Hevac. Once the motor is removed the flap should be very easy to turn with your fingers.
