Oh, chrissakes, if you wave to a Freelander on the road the driver'll go back to their hubby (M or f) & swear blind that "this farmer" was trying to start an affair with her.

Sorry, I used to wave at Defenders, but after so many blank looks & feeling a bit of an idiot (no, not "what bit"), anything younger than a III & I don't bother, the solidarity is lost!

Grunt mate, you can kinda tell on approach. If it's shiny, they probably ain't gonna wave, if it looks like it gets used as God intended, then I'll chance me arm for the sake of the brotherhood & wave heartily.

Yeah, shiny ones tend to seem embarrassed when I pass in the opposite direction. Dont really care a bollock really, at least mine gets used.
