Hi again weve just finished putting our discovery transfer box in to our 90 and now we have no reverse gear, it makes like a grinding sound yet any other gears are ok WHATS WRONG WITH IT!!:confused: :confused: :mad: :mad:
 
Sounds like the reverse gear selector arm has become dislodged or summat an it's trying to go into two gears at the same time. Apparently it's a common problem.
 
could be something simple like bodywork not allowing it to go fully into reverse, could be yer reverse idler is poked....****e, was reverse working in the disco??
 
well - if its only reverse gear - an yu only changed the t box, yu musta moved the gbox, so that it cant get into gear propper - can you check the gearlever movement?
