dual mass is better ,it contains the springs for damping for transmission rather than having the springs in the clutch plate ,you can fit std flywheel but usually transmission rattlle appears ,this gives better explanation

8566 spigot bush is best replaced if yours is poor ,you sometimes have to ream bush out to get input shaft to fit

i normally buy them seperate ,its the retailers that put kits together

thanks mate i know its sounds daft but i had to ask

is it a hard job to do friends have fitted clutch's on 300tdi's and 200tdi's i was going to see if the guy who does my taxi can do it he has ramps or a lift that picks the car up above your head

would like to try and do it myself to be honest with help from my mate just abit scared in case i just fook it right up

its allways worth asking they are compatible ,ive never had an issue with td5s ,but did with a golf ,care should be taken fitting plate as it fits opposite way than you might think , i do them on the floor with 2 jacks one under each drivers side axles then use engine crane through passenger door to support transmission
