I'm trying to help someone who has contacted me regarding a problem with his Freelander 1.

I suspect he has injector issues and needs someone to test fuel delivery to his injectors and if he's getting fuel to them, take them out so he can take them to be tested and when they return refit them.

He's prepared to pay. If you are skilled enough and in the Bolton area please get in touch.

Any local Indy ought to be able test the above and/or remove them?

What makes you query the injectors?
Have you read any codes or anything?

The problem is fuel delivery, I'm almost certain but I haven't inspected the car myself.
It needs to see if fuel is getting to the injectors or finding where it's getting too. The owner isn't mechanically inclined and I am too far away from him to take a look myself. He was referred to me by someone in the trade and I believe it's fuel related.
The owner has had it plugged into diagnostic but injectors won't show any faults in the diagnostic which just confirms it must be a fuel issue. No faults are showing for this problem.

Drives well until it gets to higher speeds or under load which suggests fuel delivery problem

He just needs to have the injectors removed and then he can take them to be tested. Once that's been sorted, to be put back in and bled.

I am certain it must be fuel delivery but not having seen the car I can't be 100% sure. If anyone can correct me if I'm wrong I will take on board any alternatives.

My first plan would be do a leak back test, just chancing taking out al the injectors is work that may not be required, if the leak back test comes back within the allowed spec, then the next step would be to remove the HPFP regulator and change the O-rings, this is about 40 mins work, and cost of O-rings is £5.22
