Hi all, I'm looking to get a pair of heavy duty wide yoke prop shafts made for my 1989 defender 90. It's lifted with some 2" + springs that are in good condition and +2" shocks to match. I've took my defender to a local company who specialises in props and he got underneath and measured both front and back prop. Both measurements were the same?? Abou 763 I think without looking at the quote. Am I missing something here? As I thought the front and back are different lengths, the transfer box and gearbox is in the original place.

Do a search, been discussed many times

you need to put spacers in mate cant advise on size as theyre s different ones so you will have to measure both front and back as they may be different sizes
as for the guy measuring your propshe must be blind as there is a long one and a short one wont patronise you as you know which is which hope this helps

I know there's not much in the sizes, but he measured them both the same to the mm , I even asked him to double check as I was shocked!

or well new one on me !!!! they are defo different !!!!
and you normally put spacers in when you lift it
so you may need someone who knows more than me !!!
