Happy new year to all

I have a question regarding my 2006 adventurer 3 door, I have been out this morning and it has developed a strange howling noise from the n/s front wheel area it is only noticeable when coasting at very low speeds it the goes away as soon as I accelerate. The car Also feels normal. We have had a lot of wet weather lately and I have been through some standing water but nothing too drastic. I do hate sudden noises as all I can think is that it will cost £'s to repair. If anyone has any idea let me know.

Alright maybe howling wasn't the best description lol. Could it be brakes binding or wheel bearings, it's bugging the life out of me.
jack the car up . leave out of gear, spin each wheel individualy see if you get the same noise that should tell you wether it is brakes binding or wheel bearings.:)
