Hello!

I drove my hippo into work today and home and car was sat on drive for an hour, I then drove half a mile to stop outside neighbours house, when I went to leave it just didn't start, I can hear the starter motor going but it's just not firing!
Putting foot on pedal doesn't make a difference,

Any ideas?

In addition it did actually start when I was leaving but it stalled when I went to pull off, then from then on it didn't start

Can you hear the fuel pump running when you switch the key to position 1?

Is it petrol or diesel??? I'm guessing maybe an early petrol model???

Yeah fuel pump whirred, it's a td4

Ok went out there with my obd2 to check for codes And it started first time.....
Maybe the immobiser was playing up?? If not I think I might have a fuel blockage! Going to put some cleaner in tomorrow!
