hi guys i need someone who might beable to help me sort my clutch or could phone me so i can explain whats happening .im at my teather noe. whats happend done a auto to manual conversion on my 3.9v8 1995. fitted r380 box branew clutch and fly wheel . bleed the system and got a clutch but wont go in gear.turn car off goes in . ive been told its the slave and the funny thing is i have taken slave out the box pushed a bar in against the piston and got someone to push pedal down while im hold ing the resistance. and i can hold the piston back when the pedal is on floor is this right. also is anyone about tomorrow who could help will pay your time im in wolverhampton ive up to here with it. would rather speak over phone can in box my number. any suggestions.

hi i brought a pressure bleeder. bled the system got a strong pedal but its like its not pushing the arm to disengage clutch.

do you think the rod that the piston on the slave pushes is to short.as it was a auto and ive converted it to manual. maybe its not pushing the arm to the clutch out enough to lift the plate off the flywheel,is this possible

if you can hold piston back in slave by hand it's obviously not working properly as it's designed to push something.
