Right, so I ordered some plastic plugs part no. CZA4705L to replace some broken plugs in my door frames.
These are the plugs that act as anchors for the screws which hold my door trims on.
However, when these plugs arrived I found that the shaft on them was square, and not round as on those fitted to my Land Rover. Appparently CZA4705L superceded RTC3744.
Can someone tell me whether RTC3744 has a round shaft on it or if it is also square. Also, are these actually the correct parts or am I going in the wrong direction completely?
To all owners of Ninety's or One Ten's: how are your door trims held on - are they secured with screws into plastic plugs?
Hopefully someone can help; these are the sorts of parts that I hate; small and fiddly and hard to find the correct one, especially on older LRs.
