hi all my dad has a freelander 1 td4 and was driving along nicely the all the sudden it stops no power what so ever now wont even start
so they called the rac out the man plugged it in aand said it has no high pressure on the fuel

so i have replaced the high pressure fuel switch and still not starting

so any help people ive checked pretty much everything im at a lost end

could you list what you have checked ..
'n folks here might see what you might have missed

no high pressure .. implies no low pressure either ..
.. is the low pressure fuel pump working ?

things to check:
ROVER 75 MGZT ENGINE FAULT FINDING

you have replace the high pressure switch ? you need to replace the pump

can you hear the low pressure pump running when you turn the ignition key on but not started?
(pump location post my02 in drivers rear wheel arch pre my02, pass side under bonnet)

If not, I would suspect that first - you cant get high pressure if the low pressure pump isnt working...
