i have just changed the battery on my 54plate discovery 3 and found this lead which looks like it should be in the connector just behind it in the photo? or it this for something else and should be left disconected any help would be great thanks

There are lots of 'spare' plugs on a LR, they are normally for the 'goodies' you ain't got fitted !!

If your really worried, pop in to your local LR stealer and ask if they can 'have a quick peep at it'

Leave yer wallet at home tho

on the new disco 3 that plug looks one that is used for a transit relay which is used in the factory so i guess its the same on the series 2
