Hi - I'm based in the North East and the owner of a new to me series 2a - its a bit of a mongrel but full MOT and my hope is that I can learn how to maintain, fix and mend as I go rather than everything needing attention at once! Thanks in advance for help and advice - I've got a question already so I'll continue to rummage and then find the appropriate area to post in!

I'll try and get a few pics to post soon - so long as folks don't point out all it's not quite right bits (tail gate opens sideways etc etc) as I said its a bit of a mongrel!

It makes me smile when I look out of the window and see it parked and realise it's mine
Got out this evening with the sides and back rolled up which was fab.
