I'm a noob when it comes to off-roading and greenlaning. I've got a modified Discovery 1 and am ready to get out there!

I'm on the Suffolk/Essex border (Sudbury), and would be happy to meet up with others in the area for some laning. I'm meeting up with some guys from Haverhill at the end of March for a day, which should be fun.

Anyone have any experience of Bures Pit in Suffolk? I've been told that the ground is very sandy (fine sand) - is that gonna cause any probs with the disco?

Anyway, rambling on (sorry). Glad to be here and looking forward to finding new places and new people!
