Hello Everyone - just put down a deposit on a FL2 which should be here in a weeks time. Feeling a bit in shock as I have never bought a nearly new car before, never mind a 4x4. I can't wait though as the car I test drove was great - hence spur of the moment crazy car buying spree

I would be grateful for any recommendations of good independent mechanics in North Fife as I think the dealer service costs are going to be £££.

Has anyone got the paint/fabric protection thing? Is it worth the £350?

Welcome to the forum - be warned, FL's are kinda known on here as gaylanders Expect LOTS of ribbing for having one

I have NO idea about the protection thingamewotsit though.

Hi DiscoBluebell - I have got broad shoulders so can take some ribbing

I love your tag it is so true, I have the horses - hence I can only afford a gaylander as the fuel consumption on the big boys is too high, I would never be able to afford to drive anywhere.

It's very true eh! If I didn't have them, I could do things like holidays or buy new clothes or even have sky!
