I've joined as somebody who is thinking about joining the L322 Range Rover ranks in the next 18 months or so. I hope to read up and learn about the car here first, before taking an 'informed' plunge in the future.
I currently own quite a rare car - an imported 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX automatic saloon in the famous WR blue, but my wife is planning to change our other car (SUV) for a smaller car later this year, hence my 18 month plan.
When the time does come I'll be looking for a 2005 L322 4.4 petrol version with the BMW lump in and converting it to LPG for those 'family car running costs'. I've already gleened from elsewhere this is the engine recommended for this conversion, rather than the 4.2 SC or 4.4 Jag unit.
