Used to drive one of these when in 2GG RECCE plt.
Good bit of kit.
Hard to drive at night with PNGs and even harder to hang on as rear gunner when getting thrashed around tight corners!.
We destroyed a fair few in Canada.

You are correct the landy couldnt have kept up with a green jacket.
We had about 8 of them that was not coming home with us so we was given the job of destroying them,took some doing!

Hoofish please elaborate, we are still talking about destroying Landys I hope? Haha - When were you last on one?

The WMIK is a sturdy peice of kit, with lots of new toys to assist night driving.

Funnily enough it even comes with heaters too!
