Hello everyone. Just bought a 90 def 200tdi last Tuesday. Good condition, cracking motor, 265's on 16" steelies, steering guard, bull bar, all for 2K. And someones hung a free cheese grater on the left wing!
200 miles back home, hit 80 and the rattle from the spare wheel/door gave me a headache for two days solid. Had to fix the horn, which led to fixing the indicators which meant a trip to the scrappy for another switch. Still chuffed to bits.
The scrap yard's just a couple of miles away and has about a dozen landies from series up to a V8 110 7 seater. Does landyzone have a list of scrap yards with decent stuff? I know it's not much use having a scrappy in Scotland if you live in Cornwall, but a lot of 'em'll ship things. Just a thought.
Finally, I'd just like to say I browsed this forum a lot while I was looking for my 'drover. There was a lot of good info to guide me in the right direction. Also, the swearing and general abuse dished out makes the forum a nice change from the other over-policed sites.
