Hi gents, my name is Ben Little and I currently live in the U.S. Owned many Rovers and looking to jump over in the next 6-7 weeks and purchase a Tithonus 110 and export/ import it to the U.S.

My buddy and I (he's purchasing one also) are looking to come possibly the 1st week of April. Looking to possibly meet up and grab a pint with some locals.

Anyone in or around London or Nottingham up for a pint?

Hi Ben,

Welcome to the mad house of LZ. It's always nice to welcome another colonial back into the fold of the Mother country and I'm sure you'll be given a warm welcome, as well as, if you read other threads, gentle advice about doing a search for answers before asking what size tyre (that's with a Y by the way) will fit your Land Rover.

Whereabouts in Southern Canada are you from? There are a few Merkins on the Forum, and only one is occasionally objectionable.:) I'll let you discover which of your fellow countrymen that may be.;)

If you post, a bit nearer the time, whereabouts in London you intend to be then I'm sure there will be willing volunteers to join you for a pint, particularly as you've offered to buy. :D:D

Welcome BenLittle, yes it is good to welcome our cousins from across the pond into our fold and also good that you're into Land Rovers. I would love to have met you for a few beers in London or Nottingham but I just live a bit too far north however I'm sure there must be a few southerners in landy zone who would meet up with you, especially if you're buying. Though it won't cost you much as they can't hold their beer.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm very familliar with the search button :) And also with tire size.. tyre size.

Have built many rovers and own many rovers.

Yes, I'll post up closer to when we arrive and see if we can set something up. Right now we're figuring out logistics of exporting/ shipping our trucks from the UK - US.

I'm in Utah. My family lineage is also mostly English :5bcheers2:

Hi Ben, I see that you're from Utah, I stopped in Moab for a few days couple of years ago, great place apart from the fact I couldn't get a beer unless I ordered a meal to go with it. Saw plenty of serious off roading 4x4s, Jeeps, Broncos etc., only a couple of Land Rovers. That Lions Back is some challenge, nothing like that over here unfortunately.

is he ya brother?
