The centre of the spare wheel mount on the back door.

Hi Lift jack rac for Land Rover Discovery 1 mud 4x4 on eBay, also, Land Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 11-May-08 11:19:45 BST)
I dunno how it will fair over time though

The other option is to fit a ladder and attach brackets to that or just strap it straight to it so it distributes the weight better.
