hey there everybody, this is asad from dhaka, bangladesh. i just bought myself a 1999 land rover defender 110 tdi. its in pretty good shape but has been lying under the open sky for almost 2 years now unstarted or unmoved. i have managed to get it home, use to belong to the british high commission here. it has 95000 documented kms in a digital odometer. has dual air con and special side steps and protection bars. will post pics asap.
hope to get a lot of help from you gurus here.
i also have a pajero intercooler turbo which is my daily ride.
loving the landy so far, got it started after bleeding air, starts and runs well.

the landy is a beauty! i am loving every bit of it. i need to get it serviced completely, as a precaution i want to change all the belts which seem fatigued and also the timing belt. there is a clanking noise when the engine is running i dont know what this is.. it sounds as if something is open or like the air filter is open but none of that, i need to know what all to check. please let me know i am not familiar with the 300tdi engine. it has a snorkel too!

PS- there is no power loss, its a flier!! also what is the fuel consumption on these 300tdi defenders like?
