Just thought I'd say 'Hello' and leave a quick 'about me'. I live on a barge on the river Thames near Shepperton down stream from Staines. I work in the film and audio visual industries and drive trucks if times are quiet. I am a member of the TA in a transport regiment RLC. My first car was a series IIa soft top loved it but moved to London and had a motorbike so she sat on my Dad's drive until he got fed up and sold it (it was actually used in a failed ram raid oops he still feel guilty bless lol) Replaced her with a 3 door Range Rover for winter transport seized the rear axel at 70 on the M3 interesting experience plus a right bugger to drag her up onto the AA truck. Fixed she was amazing then dumped all the water from the rad, again on the M3 (but going the other way lol) and she over heated before I could pull over she seized , big end went etc. No money to fix and when got the money sent garage to fetch her they went to the wrong place and the council took her away to scrap gutted. Many many years later am back wanting a LR and so here .Our car park has a height barrier so Disco's are out so RR's and Freelanders are on shopping list (want more comfort than series)
