Hi and hello,
I'm new to this so I hope that anyone out there is in an understanding mood?!
I learned to drive in my dads series 3 when I was in my teens, I'm now 47 and on my third landrover.
First one of my own was a 109 truck cab pickup with a straight six engine, (wife forced sale as kids with me up front meant she got to ride in the back with the dogs under the old tilt)
Second (Bought in 2000) is a 200 TDi Discovery which I still have and is my everyday runabout vehicle.
Third is a 2005 Discovery TD5 and is my wifes/sunday vehicle. It's ideal for me in every way (when it actually works!!) which is my problem at present.
Suspension, Rear air suspension to be exact. Drivers side is over inflated to beyond maximum and the passinger side completely flat, so far I've been told that its the sensor (on either side), the air bag on the passenger side, the compressor and the divert valve if anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful to hear from you.

The most practical solution is to get it converted to coil springs. It isn't overly expensive and it will eliminate the possibility of having further problems with the problematic air suspension. You already have coils on the front so it's only the rear you will have to worry about. I will probably do this on mine at some point.

Be carefully if you do I believe there is an issue with the mot unless you take out the 2rear seats ?
I may be wrong but check on it

i've read several times about the insurance implications about converting to spring from air bag ,why is this because if you had dickie seats in a 200/300 what is so different apart from being forward facing in a td 5

Thanks to all, but if the drivers side is pumped up and the passenger side is all the way down what is the problem ?? Sensore, diverter or bags?? any and all help appreciated

Won't be a fault with the pump two things to look at
1 ride hight sensor
2 blocked pipe to the low side
