Hello all!!!

Dont own a landy me self but our lass has an f plate defender 90 with a 2.5td in, think this is a poular engine for these!!!

Now she has her own private mechanic, (me) maybe calling on some peeps knowledge as mine is limited on these!!!! Also wanting some chequer plating for various parts!!! Any info to a decent supplier much appreciated!!

her dad has a series 3 which we are going to put a galvonised chassis on an he's toying with the idea of putting a td5 into it, which is the engine in his w plate one..

Well each to their own an all, i reckon she should get some cow catchers on!!!

Quite funny to watch her driving it, anything 4x4 orintated (chelsea tractors) gets abused with dam wannabes getting in my way!!!

a TD5 in a series sounds like a tall order!

Still, I seem to remember someone on the old LRO forum managed to fit a TD5 in a series IIa and still had the recessed grille (actually, if I remember totally right, it was a TD5 defender retro-fitted with an SIIa front end, windscreen and LEAFS (!) for export to USA - all a bit dodgy)

Ow do lad excellent choice of vehicle, don't want to be picky but it int a Defender it's just a 90. Bin the chequer plate it's naff, yool be bunging a bucket on the exhaust next and lisnin to humpy thumpy muzic.

NOOOOOO never!!!! Mind you she did ask me to put some better speakers in so she could here it a bit better!!!
