Hello and Thank you for the welcome ! Could you advise on how to get the best out of the site/forum ? I am a first time Discovery owner and need to find a trustworthy local mechanic to look after my TD5 , many thanks APCP

If you don't find what you're looking for start a thread in the relevant section and ask.

Even if your only really looking for a mechanic and not carry out work yourself it's worth trying to diagnose issues and solutions. A mechanic is a lot less likely to try and take you for a ride if you know what you're talking about

Thanks very much for the advice , I will look into the trying to diagnose angle , built a few cars as a kid , so will give it a go , at leat I will be better informed as you say , thanks APCP
