Hoping to make friends thru this brilliant forum,I've been a land rover nut since about the age of 4 when my dad had a series 2a . I bought a 200tdi disco in oct '11 thinking we were going to have another bad winter , so a disco and a snow shovel insured there would be no snow. It would be nice to pick up some tips and hints as a very old landy and not much money I want to maintain her as much as I can myself. Starting with the underside. That's all for now it must be sleep time.

hi its discogal here signing in after far too long away. thank you for messages of welcome i am in devon so treweys not to far away from me and i cross the tamar on a regular basis to go to falmouth. will be on the forum more often from now on as i have had my desk top repaired so am not reduced to peering at my blackberry screen trying to make out what people have written.

hi discogal again . I have just fitted a new bumper to my 200tdi having removed the bullbars and spots that acted as my main beam headlights. will i be able to use the lights that are in the front of the disco as main beam as well as dipped or will i have to buy new headlights that are already dual . she looks much better without the bullbars so wouldnt really want to put them back on again with the spots

I often spend time down in Torbay out laning. We had a landyzone meet up and laning session not so long ago.
