Hi All,

While I was busy with my nanocom for a different issue I tried to find where I can test if my height sensors are still on my Disco 2 Td5. The previous owner removed the air suspension but left the compressor.

I am tempted to built it back to air but like to know if my height sensors are working. How do I check this?

Look on the nanocom,

in the slabs section you will see suspension type, and few pages later you will see the sensor height readings.

Cheers

Also, just because the compressor is there , does not mean it is still working.

Is all the pipework in place?

Cheers

Yes pipe work is in still in place. Everything seems to be there. I am in early stages as I have a few things to sort out before I do this but I wouldn't mind having the air suspension back again. I need to check the compressor as it doesn't work when I press the button, I have not investigated the compressor yet though.

If you have nanocom, then you can check to see if it is selected. I do not know if you were to select it on the nanocom if it would start the pump running.

cheers

Did you set it to air with nanocom before you pressed the ORM switch to see if the compressor works or not? also see if fulible link FL9 and relay R5 are in place

No I didn't. That is where I went wrong and I suppose it has to be switched off as they changed to springs.

Will check R5 and FL9 before I play further with the nanocom.
