hi again.
If as you say the engine is up to temp then the thermostat is okay, the stat is not involved with the flow of coolant through the heater, is it likely that there’s an air blockage in the heater matrix, have you recently changed the coolant?
There was a thread on here recently similar to this, but if Search is stil fu cked, good luck in finding it.
Seem to remember the solution was to drain the system then refill it slowly and properly, but may have misremembered!
Bizarrely if you go out of LR and search using Google, much as you would on here, you often find what you need! Often on LR.

The engine temp gets to halfway up the gauge like normal. No perhaps the whole system could do with a flush and refill
