I hope someone can shed some light on this. After a long trip, the blower fan appears to be stuck on full blow, even when the vehicle is switched off. I have tried the following:
1. Removed battery to force cpu reset - fan comes on when you reconnect (no key in ignition)
2. Removed all relays in the engine compartment and reinstalled, in case of bad connection
3. Removed fuse FE28 in the engine bay, which obviously disables the fan. Fan comes on as soon as fuse and battery reconnected.
I have seen a number of references to the blower relay as a first point to test, but can find no reference to where this relay is located on a F2TD4. Can anyone point me in the right direction there?
Failing this evidence points to the resistor pack for replacement, does anyone have any idea where i can source one of these if required.? I am led to believe this is located in the drivers footwell somewhere?
First post on landyzone, whit a new current fault. I hope someone out there has experienced a similar fault. In the mean time, i have pulled the fuse to use the landy, but would welcome the location of the relay location as a first point of call.
Cheers
