Hi again everyone just a quick 1 im sure 1 of you wise 1s on here will be straight on it the drivers seat does not heat up but when i test between the 2 cables on not the brown with red trace but the other 2 on both connectors i get 13.3 v according to this i thought the seats should work as the elements are in series hope this makes sense
Cheers Alan

check continuity around the seat, if all is fine and you have voltage at the plugs that feed the seat then the thermostat has gone, about a quid to fix!

its in the seat, looks a bit like the fob batteries, its at the back of the base between the leather and the foam filling, you have to take seat out and dismantle it, too me about 2-3 hours to change the leathers over from the original tan drivers seat to the leccy grey one i got for 21 quid for the set of front and back!!!

still got the passenger one to do when i can be arsed!

look at the bottom of this page: Heated Seat Repair on Range Rover 4.0/4.6

Cheers for that gav dont think i can be bothered taken seats apart just have to have a cold arse in the winter
Cheers Alan
