Do you have the standard seats and did you strip the outer covers off them and put the pads between the foam base and the cover? I have a dream to re cover mine one day and If I do it would be great to fit something like this and hard wire it so that it make a nice neat solution, one thing for sure Defenders need something in this weather.

Yeah I've the standard seats. I had to partially remove the seat covers, it was basically a case of unclipping them enough to slip the carbon pads in and remove the sticky backing so the pads stay in place on the foam. I was surprised how easy and quick a job it was.

Ive fitted heated pads in quite a few cars now and the defender are the easiest seats I have ever taken apart.
