I was just wondering if anyone has had to replace an element in the drivers seat??

i have bought a new heat pad so im going to give it a go, but if anyone has done it and would like to give me some pointers that would be good.

And also if anyone is interested i will do a step by step guide of how mine went!

According to Microcat the heated seat is serviced by complete replacement of seat cover.

I'd be interested in how you get on with changing it.

I need to do mine sooner or later.

Just trying to decide between that or the sagging roof headlining....

As I said, iv bought a complete pad, so hopefully peel back the trim, unplug the old pad, plug the new in.

But I know it won't be that simple lol

Do many L332s have a sagging roof liner yet? :D:D:D

I bet you it is. Hopefully there won't be any sewing involved.

Iv read that ther arnt all that differant to the p38 seats to do.

Tis fine, I'm married, so if there's sewing todo then swmbo can do it :D

If it's like a P38 seat, and most car seats are made the same way, then can I suggest that you replace the metal hog rings with cable ties. When you come to pull it all together again you can fit the ties loosely until you've got them all in, then tighten them. Saved me time, temper and blood once I started doing it that way. As for the looks, you can't see the hog rings so you won't see the cable ties.
