The headlining in my new 1996 disco has separated from the backing, looks like the foam has disintegrated, i gather this is a common fault.

Are there any fixes ??

I had the same problem, i used grey trim buttons bought off ebay, (£3 for 20) and made a hole through the seperated cloth and the hard card liner, splodged a bit of glue on the end of the trim button for good measure & push into the hole.Not 100% but good enough for my budget, i can send you item no if you want, (no connection ) cheers.
