Make sure you prep it first with a cleaner, brake cleaner works good for this spray and wipe, leaves no petroleum residue.

Thanks JW -will need to remove the waxy residue from the 'back to black' style products.

Must confess brake cleaner wouldn't have occured to me - good call!
