I've been looking at replacing my headlight bulbs and was thinking of using osram nightbreaker plus. Is anyone out there using these already or any other headlight bulb upgrade? Any feedback or recommendations would be welcome.

Yeah they are good, but if you look at the specs, they do not last long at all.

Night breaker plus h4
Lifespan B3 80 / 260 h
Lifespan Tc 160 / 400 h

Ultra lifes h4
Lifespan B3 300 / 2000 h
Lifespan Tc 700 / 3000 h

I went for the nb+ because i wanted more light since i'm in the sticks

I must admit I fitted an HID upgrade and oh boy are they good!. I set them slightly low as I was a bit concerned I'd be dazzling people but I've never had so much as a 'flash'.

That's because everyone is in a sheer panic trying not to crash as you blind the crap out of them :p :D

Just put the Osram's in mine - very pleased

Don't do an awful lot of night driving so hopefully the shorter lifespan won't be too much hassle

Had these in my 90 for 2-3 years now and they are fine, good white light and certanly better than the Phillips 30% brighter I fitted several years earlier. I was so impressed that I fitted a set to my wife's Freelander and on the Hi of my bike (BMW GS with HID Lo).
